An evening of entertainment and education was enjoyed by all at the September 10th meeting.  Philip's presentations always leave you with nuggets that you can take back to your job and apply right away.  Plus he usually has a few good jokes for around the water cooler!  Check out the blog for the things I noted during the presentation.

NEWS:

A reminder, Tom Wilson is stepping down from his position as “Hospitality Chairperson” after our September meeting.  We need one or two of you to step forward and fill that position with a years commitment.  Please let me know as soon as possible if you would be interested.

Tom has done a great job in making sure we have had ample food and drink to compliment our meetings and has been a pleasure to work with.  Be sure to let Tom know how much you appreciate his efforts.

I ask that all of you consider taking up Toms duties after September. Perhaps a committee of two or three people would help offset concerns about having to be at every meeting.  Please think about it and let me know if any of you would be willing to help for a one year term.

6:15 – 8:15 pm:  Mike Staples (TPM)will lead off tonights presentation with a sampling of what’s “cool” in SOLIDWORKS 2010. For those of you unable to attend a rollout session this will be an introduction to some of the new features in this upcoming release.  Following Mikes presentation, KeithDacus (TPM) will spend a little time showing us what’s new in SIMULATION 2010.

6:50 – 7:00 pm:  BREAK (maybe)

8:15 – 8:30 pm:  Wrap up, Questions and Answers, Q and A, Door prizes and parting gifts.
